Gingerbread

This recipe is untested, hence the "?" with the quantity of baking powder

Dry Ingredients:
5 c. whole wheat pastry flour
2 T. baking powder ?
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 T. ground (powder) ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Wet ingredients:
1 c. canola oil
1 1/2 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. barley malt
2c. soymilk
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch sea salt
- Preheat oven to 350
- Sift together dry ingredietns into a bowl
- Whisk together wet ingredients into a separate bowl
- Combine wet into dry ingredients.
- Fold into oiled and parchment lined loaf pan
- Bake 55-60 minutes.
